Welcome to Sarah Marie Jewelry! I began making hand-crafted jewelry in 2007 after my diagnosis with a rare form of cancer. During my treatment, jewelry-making provided an outlet and purpose. After giving many pieces away as gifts, friends began to ask for more, so I established Sarah Marie Jewelry at the end of 2008. I am now in remission. Praise the Lord!
In 2017 I began a new health journey, learning that I have Crohn’s Disease. I am thankful for the opportunity to continue making jewelry as I recover from my most recent flare-up and continue my journey to health. Creativity and the beautiful art of jewelry-making continue to be very therapeutic for me.
I have always enjoyed jewelry. I work mainly with glass and stone beads. I enjoy the reflective quality of the glass and the variety of beads available. I enjoy making unique pieces and most of my work is one-of-a-kind.
Some of my favorite pieces have come from ideas brainstormed while creating custom pieces. I truly enjoy matching beads and designing the perfect jewelry for that special occasion, or that piece you have been looking for to match a particular outfit.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about SMJ!
